Dr. Yasamin Al Hashimi, Optometrist

Dr. Al Hashimi is a cum laude graduate from Illinois College of Optometry in 2014. She previously graduated with Honours from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor in Psychology as well as Biology. Her clinical training has ranged from working at the renowned Sidney Hillman Health Center/Lighthouse, Lenscrafters, Illinois Eye Institute, Midwest Eye Professionals and at Chicago Corneal Consultants, where she treated and managed ocular disease, worked in a community setting, performed specialty contact lens fittings, completed pediatric vision examinations and worked on challenging low vision cases.

Dr. Al Hashimi and her family moved to the Burlington area in 2014, where she immediately started working in private practice. We are extremely pleased to have Dr. Al Hashimi be a part of our team. She brings her passion for contact lens, pediatric eye exams, and management of ocular diseases and ocular emergencies with local physicians to our office. We hope to see you soon in our office.
